Location: Southland, New Zealand
Experienced Scaffolders are required for full-time roles across commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects throughout New Zealand. These positions involve erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently while working as part of a site team.
Key Responsibilities

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.

Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and scaffold designs where required.

Inspect scaffolding components and ensure equipment is safe and compliant before use.

Secure scaffolding structures using appropriate bracing, ties, and supports.

Load, unload, transport, and organise scaffolding materials and equipment.

Maintain clean and safe work areas on construction and industrial sites.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including working at heights protocols.

Work collaboratively with supervisors, site managers, and other trades on-site.
Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of proven and documented scaffolding experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments.

Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, erection methods, and site safety practices.

Experience working safely at heights and in physically demanding environments.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions and site plans.

Relevant scaffolding qualification or certification is preferred.

Current driver’s licence is advantageous.

Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), with acceptable evidence provided at the time of application.

Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s health and character requirements for the AEWV.

All work experience must be supported by verifiable documentation such as reference letters, employment records, or contracts.
