Location: Southland, New Zealand

Experienced Scaffolders are required for full-time roles across commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects throughout New Zealand. These positions involve erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently while working as part of a site team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and scaffold designs where required.
  • Inspect scaffolding components and ensure equipment is safe and compliant before use.
  • Secure scaffolding structures using appropriate bracing, ties, and supports.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organise scaffolding materials and equipment.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas on construction and industrial sites.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including working at heights protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, site managers, and other trades on-site.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of proven and documented scaffolding experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments.
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, erection methods, and site safety practices.
  • Experience working safely at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and site plans.
  • Relevant scaffolding qualification or certification is preferred.
  • Current driver’s licence is advantageous.
  • Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), with acceptable evidence provided at the time of application.
  • Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s health and character requirements for the AEWV.
  • All work experience must be supported by verifiable documentation such as reference letters, employment records, or contracts.
