Location: Various locations across New Zealand

Experienced Bricklayers are required for full-time roles across residential, commercial, and construction projects throughout New Zealand. These positions involve laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, chimneys, and other structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and masonry materials according to plans and specifications.
  • Construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and layouts.
  • Prepare and apply mortar mixes and ensure proper alignment and finishing of brickwork.
  • Cut and shape bricks, blocks, and other materials using hand and power tools.
  • Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other tradespeople on construction projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven and documented experience as a Bricklayer or Mason.
  • Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, masonry materials, and construction methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, measurements, and technical drawings.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and physically demanding environments.
  • Relevant trade qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Current driver’s licence is advantageous.
  • Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), with acceptable evidence provided at the time of application.
  • Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s health and character requirements for the AEWV.
  • All work experience must be supported by verifiable documentation such as reference letters, employment records, or contracts.
