Location: Southland, New Zealand
Experienced Meat Boners are required for full-time roles within meat processing facilities in Southland. These positions involve boning, trimming, and preparing meat products in fast-paced production environments while maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Bone, trim, and prepare meat products according to production specifications and quality standards.

Use knives and meat processing equipment safely and efficiently.

Separate meat from bones and remove excess fat and waste material.

Inspect products to ensure quality and consistency throughout processing.

Maintain clean and hygienic workstations in line with food safety requirements.

Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and compliance procedures at all times.

Work effectively within production teams to meet daily processing targets and operational deadlines.

Handle meat products in chilled and cold processing environments.
Minimum Requirements

At least 3 years of proven and documented experience working as a Meat Boner or in a meat processing environment.

Experience using boning knives and meat processing tools safely and efficiently.

Strong understanding of meat cutting, trimming, and boning techniques.

Ability to work in physically demanding and repetitive production environments.

Understanding of workplace food safety, hygiene, and health and safety practices.

Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), with acceptable evidence provided at the time of application.

Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s health and character requirements for the AEWV.

All work experience must be supported by verifiable documentation such as reference letters, employment records, or contracts.
