Employers and Immigration New Zealand may require independent evidence of your work experience. This can include detailed reference letters, employment agreements, payslips, bank statements showing salary payments, tax or social-insurance records, training certificates and other employment documents.
Applicants should also disclose whether they have experience processing cattle, sheep, lambs, calves or other livestock. Any halal slaughter experience, religious certification, food-safety training, workplace health and safety training or recognised meat-industry qualifications should be clearly listed.
