A highly experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Technician is sought for a full-time role in a modern, well-equipped facility. The role suits someone passionate about diesel technology and ready to join a high-performing team with access to the latest tools and diagnostic equipment.
The position offers exposure to cutting-edge transport technology and a select range of engine and vehicle brands. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high standard of mechanical knowledge, independent problem-solving ability, and a commitment to quality service.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience or a formal Trade Certificate

Proven skills in diagnostics, fault finding, and repair

Proficiency in modern diagnostic tools and software

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

A Class 4 or 5 licence (advantageous)

Strong work ethic and reliability

Must be able to provide verifiable evidence of relevant work experience

Must hold a valid English language test result (e.g., IELTS, PTE, TOEFL) meeting New Zealand immigration standards
- Must be able to meet INZ Health & Character requirements for the AEWV pathway.
Position Details:

Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:00am–5:00pm)

Saturday roster and occasional emergency breakdown work (overtime rates apply)
