A qualified and experienced Electrician is required to carry out installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems. This role demands high-quality technical performance, attention to safety standards, and timely documentation of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality work on electrical installations.
- Perform commissioning and testing of electrical systems.
- Accurately and promptly complete job documentation, including timesheets and job sheets.
- Support continuous improvement of operational and quality systems across teams.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, safety procedures, and site policies.
- Maintain strong awareness of and adherence to Health and Safety practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven and documented work experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Ability to meet Immigration New Zealand's English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) — evidence of English proficiency must be provided at the time of application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound IT knowledge and competency in using operating systems and digital tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of trade equipment, wiring systems, and relevant control mechanisms.
Required Certifications and Licences:
- Ability to gain New Zealand Electrical Registration before you apply for a visa.
- Full driver’s licence.
