Glaziers (x5) – Full-Time

Five experienced and skilled Glaziers are required for full-time positions working across a range of residential and commercial projects throughout New Zealand. These roles involve the installation, repair, and finishing of a wide variety of glass products, including frameless glass systems. The positions are suited to candidates with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proven experience in structural and decorative glazing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, handle, and install glass in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Install frameless glass systems such as showers, balustrades, partitions, and other architectural glass elements.
  • Fit and glaze windows, doors, shopfronts, curtain walls, and structural glazing systems.
  • Conduct on-site glass repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Read and interpret technical plans and specifications with precision.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organised work environments both in the workshop and on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven and documented experience in the glazing industry.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in both residential and commercial glazing.
  • Demonstrated experience installing frameless glass systems is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of glazing materials, techniques, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and work to specifications.
  • High attention to detail and focus on quality finishes.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Must meet Immigration New Zealand’s English language requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
    Acceptable English language evidence must be submitted at the time of application.

Additional Requirements:

  • All work experience must be supported with verifiable documentation (e.g. reference letters, employment records).
  • Full driver’s licence (NZ or equivalent).
  • Applicants must be New Zealand residents or eligible for AEWV sponsorship.
