(ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
Full-time Pastry Chefs are required for positions across a range of commercial kitchens in New Zealand. These roles involve preparing and presenting a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts to a high standard while maintaining kitchen hygiene and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present baked goods and desserts such as pastries, cakes, tarts, and slices.

Follow standard recipes and production processes to ensure consistent quality.

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pastry section.

Contribute to general kitchen operations as required.

Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to meet service demands.
Minimum Requirements:

At least 5 years of proven and documented experience working as a pastry chef or in a similar baking/pastry role.

Strong technical skills in pastry production and food hygiene.

Must meet INZ English language, character, and medical requirements for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
Evidence of English proficiency must be submitted at the time of application.
Preferred but Not Essential:

A relevant qualification in pastry or baking.

Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced kitchen environments.
