Global Workforce Seasonal Visa (GWSV) Opportunities Available

Seeking multiple Boning Labourers to join a busy meat processing facility in the Waitomo District, Waikato for the upcoming processing season.

These positions are ideal for applicants looking to gain experience within New Zealand's meat processing industry while working in a fast-paced production environment. Previous experience in meat processing with factory, labouring, manufacturing, or production experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and move carcasses through production areas.
  • Weigh carcasses and products to ensure production specifications are met.
  • Tube, pack, label, and scan meat products for export.
  • Prepare cartons and packaging to required export standards.
  • Load products into containers and assist with dispatch activities.
  • Collect and remove production waste and bone bins.
  • Clean and sanitise production equipment, chillers, and work areas.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, biosecurity, and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Work efficiently as part of a production team to achieve daily processing targets.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of documented experience in meat processing, manufacturing, factory work, labouring, cleaning, or another physically demanding production environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling and standing for extended periods.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and biosecurity practices.
  • Current driver's licence (New Zealand or recognised overseas equivalent) is required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing where required.
  • A good level of English is required

  • Meet Immigration New Zealand's character requirements, including police certificates where required.
  • Provide verifiable work experience documentation, including employment records, contracts, and reference letters.
